HPC and AI on Arm architecture: Observations, learnings and path forward (Monday 18 Dec 2023)

This workshop is aimed at providing a “birds-eye” view of the latest contributions and progress in industry and academia for furthering Arm architecture adoption for HPC and AI. Specifically, it is important to highlight several systems that are available today based on Fujitsu’s A64FX, AWS Graviton3, Ampere Altra processors. In addition, the Arm HPC/ AI ecosystem has mature software tools and applications. New designs based on Arm architecture such as “Rhea” CPU by SiPearl, ETRI and “Grace” CPU by Nvidia reinforce the value proposition of Arm for HPC/ AI.

Re-engineer CI/CD Pipeline For Multi-arch Environments: Santosh Kumar, Specialist Solution Architect, AWS India

Reducing infrastructure cost in public cloud is every cloud user's priority. After his talk on value proposition of AWS Graviton last year, Santosh will walk us through how to design a multi-architecture CI/CD pipeline to make a web-scale product ready for deployment to a lower cost Graviton-based virtual machine infrastructure. He will end his talk with a easy-to-follow to follow demo.
Santosh is a long-time Amazonian with 10+ years in the industry. In his current role at AWS, he helps users with scalable production architecture design. In his previous role, he was helping AWS customers troubleshoot critical production issues as a senior GSE engineer.
